The short tour
The tour for those short on time who still don't want the ten-minute pass-by. Out of the harbour, under the sea stacks and on to the Norman Castle of Aci Castello and the Cannizzaro cliffs, with a swim stop in the Marine Protected Area.

Out of the harbour and within two minutes you are facing the largest of the Cyclops Islands. A nature reserve: we circle it slowly.
The rocks Polyphemus hurled at Ulysses. From below they are columns of lava rising out of the sea, as tall as a house.

Before booking
To see the things that matter, yes: the sea stacks from below, the island, the castle from the sea and a swim in protected water. If you also want to reach the Caves of Ulysses and spend longer in the water, the 90-minute long tour is the right one.
The route is the same as far as Cannizzaro: the long tour adds the Caves of Ulysses and twice the time, so longer stops and more calm. The short tour is the essential version, at half the price.
It is the tour we recommend for them: short, close to the coast, with a swim. We are back before they get tired.
