The website is built and maintained on behalf of the controller by Visiione (visiione.com), acting as data processor under Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 for the technical maintenance of the site only.
What data we collect and why
Bookings on WhatsApp
The site has no forms: bookings and enquiries happen on WhatsApp, by writing to the controller's number from your own phone. At that point we receive your number, the name you set on WhatsApp and what you write to us (for example how many you are and for which day). We use this data only to arrange the trip and to confirm the time and sea conditions.
Legal basis: pre-contractual measures and performance of the contract you requested (Art. 6(1)(b)). Retention: up to 12 months from the date of the trip, unless tax obligations require longer. We do not send promotional messages without your consent. WhatsApp conversations are also processed under the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.
Browsing data
The server hosting the site records in its logs the IP address, the page requested, the date and time and the browser type. These are needed for security and for the site to work properly (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)) and are kept for a maximum of 30 days. The server is located in the European Union.
Cookies and similar tools
This site, by itself, does not set cookies and does not load third-party services: fonts and videos are hosted on our own server. It uses the browser's local storage for two technical functions only, which do not require consent:
ct_lang: the language you chose with the IT/EN button in the menu.ct_consent: your cookie choice, kept for 6 months.
Only after you press "Accept" in the banner, and only if active, the following tool may be loaded:

If you press "Reject", or make no choice, this tool is not loaded and the site works fully anyway. You can change your choice at any time from "Manage cookies" at the bottom of every page, or by clearing the site data from your browser. Meta may transfer data outside the European Union on the basis of standard contractual clauses and the Data Privacy Framework.
Links to WhatsApp and Instagram lead to Meta's websites: from that point their privacy policies apply.
Who we share data with
With parties acting on behalf of the controller as data processors: Visiione (technical management of the site) and the provider hosting the site on servers in the European Union. Data is not sold or passed on to third parties for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing (Articles 15-22 of the Regulation). Just write or call the controller at the contact details above. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country.
